個人履歷:
1988年本科畢業于清華大學工程力學系,1991年獲得北京大學力學系碩士學位,1994年獲得北京大學力學系博士學位;1994-1995年于美國新澤西州Rutgers大學航天和機械工程系作博士后研究,1995-1998年于美國威斯康新大學麥迪遜分校大氣和海洋科學系作博士后研究,1998-2005年擔任美國威斯康新大學麥迪遜分校氣候研究中心研究員,2005年至今擔任中國海洋大學物理海洋“筑峰工程”教授;兼任國際CLIVAR太平洋科學指導委員會委員,國際PICES太平洋氣候變化與變率科學委員會委員,國際CLIVAR NPOCE計劃科學指導委員會委員,中國海洋湖沼學會水文氣象學會理事長,中國海洋與湖沼學報(英文版)的編委,Geophysical Research Letter, Journal of Physical Oceanography,Geophysical Astrophysical Fluid Dynamics, Journal of Climate, Journal ofGeophysical Research, Climate Dynamics, Journal of Marine System, MonthlyWeather Review, Earth Interactions, Advance in Atmospheric Science,美國NSFand NOAA研究基金等的評審人。
 
主要學術成就:
主要研究包括海洋環流的基本理論、海-氣相互作用和氣候年代際變化、海洋環流與氣候系統數值模擬, 在Nature Geoscience, Journal of Climate, Journal of Physical Oceanography等國際海洋與氣候研究的權威雜志上發表論文40余篇,被Science、Nature等SCI雜志引用800余次。作為首席科學家主持承擔了國家973項目“北太平洋副熱帶環流變異及其對我國近海動力環境的影響”、國家杰出青年基金等項目。2009年作為學術帶頭人獲國家自然科學基金委員會“海洋動力過程與氣候”創新群體基金。
